I am a software engineer with consolidated experience in systems/software design and development, including real-time operating systems (RTOS), software development kits (SDK), mobile (iOS and Android) and desktop (Windows and macOS) applications made with .NET, and XR applications made with game engines.
I have been employed by Garmin from Nov. 2022 to Jul. 2023, responsible for the system/software development of the Real-time operating system (RTOS) used on outdoor wearables and handheld GPS. During the first job, I realized I am enthusiastic about open-source projects and XR development. I jumped ship to HTC Vive in Jul. 2023, focusing on an open-source library, VIVE Wave SDK and OpenXR, architecture design and development.
I graduated from National Central University in 2020, where I did undergraduate research, advised by Chih-Wei Tang, and was awarded an MSc in computer science at National Tsing Hua University in 2022, advised by Min-Chun Hu. I was also a recipient of the Honorary Members of The Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society and NTHU Outstanding Overseas Chinese Graduate Scholarship during my master's degree.
